Toshiba Announced Thinnest Android Tablet

Toshiba released a new Android Tablet REGZA AT200A claiming that it is the world’s lightest and thinnest 10.1-inch tablet available in the market. It is having weight-535g and from front-to-rear measures 7.7mm, and offers display of highly unbelievable wide view. It feels pretty attractive, especially with its magnesium chassis ie., a brushed metallic back made of magnesium alloy that looks very attractive compared with the plastic feel of rivals such as Samsung's Galaxy tablets. The AT200's glossy screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Although it's likely to launch with Android 3.2, Toshiba promises an over-the-air (OTA) update to the latest version, Android 4.0, though no date has been given.

Acer to Release Cloud Phone

According to the sources, Acer is now all set to launch its new Cloud Mobile smartphone. This new model by Acer is its first smartphone equipped with its cloud computing service, Acer Cloud.  This may be released in the third – quarter of this year, 2012, the Acer cloudmobile will be launched in the greater China. The Acer will also be launched in the 2nd quarter of the year, 2012 in North America. It is a personal cloud computing service to enable users to browse or play back PC-stored audio/video files or Office documents on smartphones anywhere and anytime. Acer CloudMobile is said to be an Ice Cream Sandwich running smartphone but not too much more is known about the device. It will combine a 4.3” HD screen with a svelte 9mm thickness and it include a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The phone is also said to be tightly integrated with Acer’s AcerCloud technology, which is said to make the handset even more cloud-centric than other devices.
