Sometimes when you get into the localhost while in a proxy server there comes an error shows the requested URL could not be retrieved at all and shows an invalid request. If you are in a proxy server you can get rid of this by making sure a small thing,
Goto Start>Configure proxy server
If you are using Windows 8 the click the Windows key>Press Win+W(Settings)>Configure proxy server
Then click on Lan settings > At the proxy server below the proxy address check the Bypass proxy server for local address > click OK.
Reload the localhost again and you are done!
